Dr. Russell A. Barkley

Russell A. Barkley, Ph.D. is a former Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a retired professor from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and the Medical University of South Carolina.

A leading authority on ADHD, he is a board-certified clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, editor of The ADHD Report, and author of 27 books and more than 300 scientific publications.

Dr. Barkley has delivered over 800 invited lectures worldwide, appeared frequently in national media, and has received numerous awards for his lifetime contributions to ADHD research, education, and clinical practice.

Dr. Barkley is now fully retired.
