Dr. Alexis Fabricius, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Guelph
Dr. Alexis Fabricius is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Guelph. Her research examines the ethical, social, and philosophical implications of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data practices across psychological research, clinical practice, and teaching.
Beyond privacy, consent, and data governance, her work explores labour, environmental sustainability, power, politics, and how digital technologies reshape professional practice and human relationships, offering practical guidance for engaging emerging technologies in ways that are ethically responsible and socially just.
She serves on the CPA’s Committee on Ethics and the AI and Emerging Technologies Management Committee.
