Psychologists across Canada must navigate complex document retention regulations that vary by jurisdiction. When thinking about document retention, psychologists must be aware of privacy laws, standards of practice, and ethical considerations that must guide their decisions on their clinical records. This is particularly important for psychologists who offer services in multiple provinces and who may be subject to competing requirements.

This webinar, led by legal professional Kathleen Starke of Stewart McKelvey will provide essential guidance on legal, ethical, and risk management considerations related to record retention, privacy laws, cross-jurisdictional compliance, and liability protection.
